Kilburn 2011

Byland Abbey entranceOn this holiday we visited two abbeys, saw the Kilburn White Horse and enjoyed spectacular views from Sutton Bank. We stay at the Forresters Arms, in the beautiful village of Kilburn: The Forresters Arms next to the village church and opposite the “Mouseman” workshop. Walking though a wood Our walks included around Rievaulx Abbey, Byland Abbey and the Kilburn White Horse.
