We stay at The Sunningdale Hotel in this peaceful and historic area of Northumberland. We hope to walk across the causeway to Holy Island, visit Craster and walk near Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh castles.

We’ll be staying at the Abbey Grange hotel, at the foot of the Horseshoe Pass. Only 400 metres from the hotel are the lovely ruins of Vale Crucis Abbey, nearby are the Horseshoe Falls, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the magnificent Castell Dinas Bran.

We stay at Harefield Hall in Nidderdale and walks include the dramatic Brimham rocks, parts of the Nidderdale Way and Howstean Gorge.

A 3 night break staying at the excellent Malyan Spout hotel in Goathland. At this time of the year the Autumn colours are truly beautiful. We may also visit the amazing Hole of Horcum.
