Hayburn Wyke

We stay at this 18th century coaching inn between Scarborough and Whitby on the Yorkshire coast.

Our first day’s walk (click here to see the route) took us down to the waterfalls and sea, before a cliff top walk with views of Scarborough Castle before coming back inland.

The next day, we walked from Ravenscar to Robin Hood’s Bay:

before coming back inland via an old water mill (click here to see the route).

On the following day we visited Whitby
and explored this lovely fishing town with more spectacular cliff top walks (click here to see the route).

For our final day we returned to Ravenscar

for a different circular walk over the moors with great sea views (click here to see the route).

If you fancy a holiday like this, we’re returning on the 29th October 2019 – but there’s only two rooms available (and they’ll soon go)!

There’s more pictures on our Facebook page here.
